Participation in the Chania Business Forum 2019 of EVEX
In 2019 we participated in the Chania Business Forum, which was organized by the Chania Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The Forum contributed to bringing together two worlds, Business and Design and as a result of which we co-created in the next 5 months an open workshop for the Forum around Business Transformation and Innovation. Our team consisted of Mr. Pantelis Papanastasiou, Dr. Manos Hatzakis and Mr. Neil Smith.
As a team, we worked to design an open and creative innovation workshop in which the 24 participants (businesses, freelancers, chamber members, ordinary citizens) were able to work as a team and collaborate around opportunities and difficulties we face today.
Through this Forum, we had the opportunity to transfer best practices and know-how, which have been created to some of the leading European companies and universities around innovation and design. The main goal was to provide useful practical tools and approaches, which can solve complex problems or enhance a company's ability to take advantage of opportunities presented to it.
Always based on the goal of the Chania Business Forum, which is the transfer of know-how from experienced and specialized people in the business world to local businesses, our workshop was created uniquely for the Forum visitors, working around the 3 Thematic areas ( Agri-Food, Tourism, Culture) and the vision for further interconnection and cooperation between companies in these 3 sectors.
Oou participation in Chania Business Forum was especially enjoyable both because we saw that people have so much positive energy to improve or create new ideas and solutions through the co-creative approach and for the big "thank you" we received from them at the end of the day.
