Project Resetting for tourism businesses.
Resetting project for small and medium-sized tourism businesses.
Purpose:
It is the reboot of European models of smart and sustainable tourism through digitization and innovative technologies
To participate in the project, as defined in the EU recommendation 2003/361, you must belong to a Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) or tourism SME.
📌The categories:
- Hotels and similar accommodation
- Holiday and other short stay accommodation
- Campsites, facilities for recreational vehicles and towed vehicles (e.g. caravans etc.)
- Activities of travel agencies, tour operators and reservation services and related activities.
🎯Businesses that can participate in the project must have a headquarters/branch in one of the following areas:
- In the province of Tarragona (Spain)
- In Portugal (Portugal)
- In P.E. Heraklion (Greece)
- In Tirana, Vlora, Shkodra, Gjirokastra, Fieri, Berati or Korça (Albania)
- Coastal municipalities of the Marche region: San Benedetto del Tronto, Grottammare, Cupra Marittima, Pedaso and Porto San Giorgio (Italy).
🎯Eligible activities for the media action plan:
- Travel and reimbursement costs for active participation and learning activities
- Investments in digital innovation
- Smart tourism tools
- Consultant agency
- Improving the skills for the digitization of the operation of SMEs
- Customization of business processes
- Augmented and Virtual Reality, crowd sensing, drone and beacon based sustainable tourism tools (see examples here)
📌Investments in physical infrastructure and/or purchase of equipment are not eligible.
Timetable :
The schedule provided for the implementation of the activities described in the action plan must not exceed 6 months!
Financial support : 1. Minimum amount: €7,000 2. Μaximum amount : €9,000
Financial support takes the form of a voucher.
(The exact amount of the voucher will depend on the budget submitted by the SME in the application form)
📌Deadline for submitting proposals → March 20, 2023
Application results → End of April 2023
Start of Activities → Mid-May with a duration of up to 6 months from the signing of the grant contracts.
